I find inspiration in LIFE magazines, old home movies, and listening to the older generations’ stories of life and love. I count it a great honor to be able to grow wrinkles and smile lines, knowing that I earned those through every smile and laugh I have had.

I have an unwavering positivity for life because what an honor it is to live. I get to bring joy to others and hug, and run, and photograph the human experience as a job. How lucky am I?

I will bring these parts of me to your wedding days, your sessions, and even your consultations and check ins because that’s my heart. That is the heart of this beautiful experience.

One of the biggest influences in my photography has to be growing up knowing that to live your passion is never a have to, and always get to.

I get to spend my short time on this earth, creating something that will outlive us all. As grim as that may sound, it creates perspective and gratefulness for THIS life.

I don't have to be a photographer and sometimes it would be easier to have a traditional 9 to 5. But it doesn't feed my soul like celebrating a love of strangers.

I observe the good of humanity and the beauty + rawness of human connection every time I get the opportunity to work with my clients.

Why I do things differently?

I started any form of art I could get my hands on since I could hold a crayon. From drawing to sculpting to now photography, art has had a hold on my life forever. I have always held weddings and memories close to the heart. My family is a BIG picture family, all starting with my grandparents! They inspired and pushed me to love serving others with my talents and exploring new ways to create!

Beginning in weddings started when I saw a genuine lack of intentional wedding creatives, and I was tired of it. I saw a lack of hospitality and servant attitudes towards couples, creating a space where you feel at home and comfortable. I was tired of seeing clients have nothing but a wedding day full of posed, repeated, and non genuine moments because it makes good “content.” Your wedding day is not content, it is meant to be full of intent and purpose that shows who you are.

So I show up and I get to serve and create for couples all over the world, and I wouldn't want it any other way!

When I am not doing photography, you can find me reading on my couch wrapped in my favorite blanket, or hanging out with my best friend, or travelin and hiking with my husband, Daniel! 

I am so lucky to have built a home that I always long to return to and that includes my lovely cats, Shammi & Milo and my husband. I love good pasta, listening to Indie country, and voice memo-ing my favorite people!

 I am a coffee sipper, I enjoy a coffee for as long as possible!

 really enjoy a good midday nap on the couch with my husband.
